    You are bidding on a wonderful antique John H. Connor J.H.C. Covered sugar bowl. The piece measures approximately 9 inches tall by 8 inches across with a massive weight of 830 grams. John H. Connor was an early American New York silversmith. Hallmarked with the initials J.H.C in two locations with a shield with New York. John Connor was an established silversmith in New York from 1832 to 1838. Wonderful detail with a shell pattern. Some surface marks from age but overall good condition with no repairs.
