Description
I am pleased to offer a stunning vintage bone china teacup and saucer made by Hammersley & Co.
The very desirable "QUEEN ANNE" pattern
Pattern 13166
Sprayed burnished gold trim
This is the original and not a reproduced pattern
Likely dates from the 1930-40s as the details are much more defined confirming an earlier vintage production
Very ornate in scalloped shape and very detailed transfer and fully hand-painted with heavy gold gilding
Completely hand painted in bright colors over transfer - the details used by the artists are incredible - the workmanship cannot be duplicated today
Better than excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, other damage or restoration - both cup and saucer do pass the ping test for bone china
Very bright, unfaded handpainting details and glossy glaze
No  wear to  gold gilding
It does not appear to have seen much use
Cup is 4 3/4" across including handle and is 2 7/8" tall at side of handle; saucer is 5 7/8" across
Guaranteed to be VINTAGE and not reproduction or re-issued
Please ignore all white spots on photos caused by camera flash
This wonderful set would make a great addition to complete your Hammersley collection or a great gift
