    Description

    Presented is a fine American coin silver beaker style cup. This piece dates to circa 1820-1835. The cup is done in a simple, traditional form, with fabulously hand engraved foliate designs in a continuous band around the base. The rest of the exterior has a bright mirror finish, but the marks of hand hammering are clearly visible on the finish of the interior. The cup has a presentation reading "To Mary Francis Parker 1835" on the side, and on the underside, "From Mrs Katherine Lawrence."
    This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
    The cup has no stamps or hallmarks, but has been tested with nitric acid and is guarantee to be at least 900 (coin) purity silver.
    This piece weighs 104 grams or 3.7 regular ounces.
    The cup stands about 3 inches tall.
