Maker
: This lovely antique plate is by England's Crown Staffordshire, which has produced fabulous china since 1889.
Age
: The mark on the reverse, which includes the word England, was used between 1901 and 1911, when "Made in England" became part of the mark.
Design
: The pattern number C3645 is handwritten on the reverse. The pattern features beautifully hand painted pink roses and a cobalt blue band trimmed in gold.
Size and condition
: The plate is 8 7/8 inches wide and in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, stains, crazing or repairs. There are a few faint utensil marks that can be seen in bright light and a small black dot near the center that was created in the manufacturing process.
