    Description

For your consideration from a smoke free estate.  A antique baby outfit ready to become someone else's family heirloom. 6 piece outfit perfect for boys and girls.   Ivory dress & slip are both marked with neck labels reading:  Made in France For Kaufmann's Fifth Ave. Pittsburgh .  Dress has three buttons up the back, all of the button loops are intact.  Dress has puff sleeves, lace trimmed peter pan collar, light smocking and embroidery making it classy for both boys and girls . Slip has two buttons at shoulders. Dress and slip both still have a new crispness to the material and original folds.   The unisex coat and one (girl) hat have labels that read:  Yolande Hand Made 27.  Bottom layer of the coat is plain for a boy.  Top layer of coat attaches with very tiny buttons and is more decorative for girl. A few of the button loops  are broken.  The top layer of the coat has been hand stitched to the bottom layer lightly in the back.  The stitching looks professional and looks as if it was placed to keep together for shipping or storage.  The stiches look as if they would be very easy to remove. Both layers have separate Yolande labels .  I do not wish to remove stitching.   2 hats  one hat is a match for boy, the other for girl.  The ribbon on girl hat has not been cut.   Also included are a pair of silky feeling socks that had been stored with the outfit. Light age discoloration on back of coat (see photo 12).  Please review all photos as they are the best description.  Please ask all questions before making any purchase.  We want you to be a happy and informed buyer and we really like hearing from you.  Thanks for looking.
