It can be used to measure RPM on coil-on-plug and diesel engines, where conventional inductive tachometers can not be used. Other uses include generators, compressors, industrial engines, fans, gears and more. Zippered case, reflective tape, instructions & 9V battery included. High intensity laser beam not affected by shop light, detects RPM from up to 6 feet away.
