Hammersley 'Mayfield' cup & saucer
dating, approximately, from
1989 to 2014.
This elegant, scallop-rimmed, swirl textured, snowy white, fine bone china, flat cup and saucer are decorated with the
colorful, multifloral swags of Hammersley's 'Mayfield' dinnerware pattern.
The rims are highlighted with glistening, 22K gold. The bottoms are labeled with a "Hammersley by Aynsley" trademark and a "Made in England" designation. An oval, blue and gold, Aynsley label is affixed to the bottom of the saucer.
The Hammersley tradename was bought by Aynsley China Ltd. in 1989. Aynsley, itself, closed its factory in 2014.
This cup, with gold trimmed handle, measures approximately

inches in diameter.
