If you love Elvis you know how spectacularly rare these Christmas Cards are.
Made ca. 1988 and based on two superb Ralph Wolfe Cowan portraits, "Praying Elvis" and "Hound Dog Christmas." Cowan is widely regarded as the artist who captured the true spirit of Elvis and his portrait in the National Portrait Gallery is by Cowan.
This is 2 opened boxes from a local Dallas estate and you get 18 Hound Dog Christmas cards and 16 Praying Elvis cards plus 34 envelopes.
All cards are the same size and measure 5"x7" in the closed position as shown in pics #8 and #9.
The boxes show drawer storage wear consistent with their 30+ year age as shown in the pics. The cards and envelopes are in like-new unused condition. A few of the Hound Dog Christmas cards have minor skips in the green background that is original to the making of the cards and not any type of wear or damage issue. Pics are very honest and show the condition well.
