    Description

1911 posted divided back postcard entitled "Fort Mansfield, Watch Hill, R. I.".
Watch Hill is an upper class community in the southwestern section of Westerly, RI. Nice view of the cottages that were on Napatree Point until they were all destroyed in the 1938 hurricane. The army base, Fort Mansfield, was at the very end of the point. All the buildings in the fort were demolished in 1928-1929.
The condition of the postcard is described above.
