    Description

    Lovely Hammersley china trinket or ring box.  This handsome box features horseback riders in red coats on beautiful horses.  The seem to be jumping over a stone fence.  The top edge of the lid on the box is outlined in gilt.  The bottom portion of the box a crop and stirrup on one side and a riding hat, horn (bugle) and rein on the other side. The decorative scene and riding implements are transferware.
    The box is about 2.5" long x 2" wide x about 1.25" tall.  It is in very good vintage condition with one tiny superficial scratch on the side of the bottom than can only be seen when the light hits it a certain way and only if you are looking for it.  We only mention this to be complete in our description.  Otherwise, it appears to be in excellent condition.
